900mm x 2600mm Machine Guarding Slide Gates

Phoenix Safety Systems, a division of Phoenix Wire Cloth, Inc., manufactures 900mm x 2600mm robotic guarding slide gates at our Troy, Michigan production facility using the same material specs and construction as our standard posts and panels. Our 100% American manufactured 2600mm tall slide gate assemblies include two (2) panels, three (3) posts, one (1) set of R&W overhead track/hangers/trolleys, one (1) bottom track & stop, one (1) slide gate door stop, one (1) spacer brace, one (1) gate latch, two (2) end blinds, one (1) InterLock mounting bracket with chain, and one (1) hardware & print package. Following welding, we powder coat all posts safety orange and the panels black, with safety yellow trim, for optimal see-through optics and visibility on your shop floor.

Ease of Installation

We’ve designed our 900mm x 2600mm machine guarding slide gates to be installed in the same manner as our standard posts and panels with the addition of an upper and lower track to guide the gate panel. Once the 2600mm tall gate posts are anchored to the floor at the proper spacing, attach the FENC-0046 fixed panel to two posts, station the top track (with trolleys inserted into the track), position the bottom door guide, bolt the 2250mm tall door panel to the trolleys, and fix the front door stops. Optional cable tray support is efficiently installed by easily inserting a cable tray bracket into the top of the 2600mm tall gate post and leveling and tightening the pre-installed jamb nuts.

Phoenix Safety Systems’ machine guarding slide gates feature 1-1/2″ diamond wire mesh panel inserts. Our standard diamond wire mesh panel insert design provides your workers with superior safety protection against finger cuts as compared to sharp expanded metal panel inserts found in standard NAAMS Perimeter Fence Systems.

As its 45° wire mesh pattern minimizes the moiré effect, our 1-1/2″ diamond wire mesh panel inserts give your workers an unambiguous view of operations behind the machine guarding enclosure. As such, your workers will never need to enter a work cell without a clear view of ongoing operations, and your supervisors will always have a clear view of your workers’ performance.

In addition, our diamond mesh panels have demonstrated the ability to withstand a 220 LB vertical drop test with no failure of the fence panel or mesh.

Standard Post Designs and Fence Panel Dimensions – 900mm x 2600mm Robotic Guarding Slide Gates

At our 2600mm machine guarding slide gate height, we offer 6 standard fence panel widths (as measured from post center-to-center) to build out the rest of your work cell around your slide gate:

• 300mm, 400mm, 600mm, 900mm, 1200mm, and 1300mm.

At this height, we offer 5 standard 2600mm tall post designs to attach the other fence panels in your work cell to:

• 2600mm no-clip light screen posts, 2600mm 1-clip end posts, 2600mm 2-clip standard posts, 2600mm 2-clip 90 degree corner posts, and 2600mm 3-clip tee corner posts.

Custom panel widths and post designs to pair with 900mm x 2600mm robotic guarding slide gates can also be manufactured upon request.

Following installation of all posts and panels on your shop floor, the machine guarding system provides you with a 200mm sweep space floor gap to allow for easy housekeeping.
